A subsérie Registros de Posturas (1830-1861) - (BR SPCVP CMP LRP RP01) é composta por registros de artigos de posturas da Câmara Municipal da Constituição (Piracicaba) e remetidas à aprovação da Assembleia Legislativa da Província de São Paulo. As posturas são legislações, de âmbito municipal, que disciplinam normas de conduta e outros parâmetros normativos locais.
O mesmo livro foi utilizado para os registros das correspondências recebidas e enviadas pela Câmara Municipal de Piracicaba (ou Câmara da Constituição), entre os anos de 1839 a 1855. Tais estão acessíveis na subsérie BR SPCVP CMP-OF-OF02
