Ata da reunião ordinária de 12 de janeiro de 1830, na qual o “Sr. Elias” (vereador Elias de Almeida Prado) discute sobre a “necessidade de se marcar um lugar para o corte de carne verde, a fim de evitar algum prejuízo que causa ao público não se saber onde se mata rês (1) ” (em transcrição livre).
